Hello Everyone,
The Chapter has scheduled a Chapter Membership Meeting for Weds, 24 September 1130 – 1300, at Michael’s A.M. Restaurant, 1562 Akron Peninsula Rd, Akron, OH 44313.
Topics to be discussed will include Fall activities, upcoming chapter elections, and the 2025 OWRC Christmas Party and Officer Installation on Friday, 5 December 2025.
Additionally, the OWRC Board will meet Tuesday 14 October, at the Summit County VSC, 1060 E. Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44306.
We have a new member, Capt Sandy Conley. USAF, Ret. She is helping host a Veteran Resource Fair at the MAPS Museum (Home – MAPS Air Museum), 3 and 4 October, I will post more information soon.
Do not forget that last Wednesday, 17 October, was Constitution Day. Take few minutes this weekend and read the Constitution. Copies are available online.
