OWRC March 2022 Membership Meeting

Hello,
We have a location for our March 2022 meeting. BG Tom Luczynski will lead us on a tour of the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF #1) at the Army National Guard Base at:

BG Tom Luczynski will provide us an information tour of the facility and flight line. We will meet after the tour for lunch at Pancho’s Southwestern Grille. 4335 Massillon Rd, North Canton, OH 44270. This is just north of the Air Guard Base on Rte 241. The lunch is voluntary, and we will order from the menu.
Directions to AASF #1:
Coming from the north, take I-77 south to the Akron-Canton Airport Exit 113. As you exit stay in the right lane and TURN RIGHT at the stop sign. This is Lauby Road. Go about ¾ mile until you reach the next STOP Sign (Greensburg Rd). TURN LEFT, go about ¼ mile, and TURN LEFT again. Note: you will see a large green sign indicating the “Army Aviation Support Facility #1”. As you proceed down this driveway, TURN RIGHT at the first turn. Continue up the driveway until you see the Army Tank on the Right and the Cobra Helicopter on the Left. TURN LEFT into the parking lot. The meeting will be in the classroom on the right as you enter the building.
Alternatively, you can exit off I-77 at Rt 241 and head south to Greensburg Rd., then TURN LEFT. In about 1.5 miles you should see the green AASF #1 sign on the right, then the last part is the same. With GPS, locating the site should not be a problem.
As with our January meeting we do not need reservations and prepayment, but we do need an estimate for attendance. Please respond by clicking the Reservation button below and completing the questions.
