The Military Aviation Preservation Society  Museum (MAPS) is having their 2024 Veterans Celebration, Saturday, 9 November 2024, 16:30 - 22:00. Pasted below is the agenda for the evening. As a special attraction, our own BG Tom Luczynski will be one of the guest speakers.

All veterans and spouses/partners are invited.  If OWRC can get 8 people to attend we can arrange our own table.

2024 MAPS Veteran Celebration

This year our 12th Annual Veteran Celebration will be held at MAPS on November 9th and will focus on the 107th Cavalry Regiment that was stationed at our facility. During that time, they flew all three helicopters that we currently display at MAPS: OH-58 Kiowa, H-19 Chickasaw, and AH-1 Cobra.

We will open the doors at 4:30 pm with dinner starting at 6:00 pm and a program to follow dinner. All three helicopters will be open for tours before dinner.

The cost will be $25 per ticket plus a service fee of (2.9% + $.30 per transaction) A buffet dinner will be provided by Mr. Mike's Catering, beer and wine will be included in the admission. The menu will be breaded chicken, beef tips, white sauce or red sauce on noodles, red skin potatoes, green bean almondine, salad and roll.

The best way to ensure that you sit with your friends is to purchase an entire table of 8 people. The cost is $200 plus $6.10 for the fee or $206.10

The dress code is business casual, military attire optional.

Refunds will only apply to the ticket price and will not apply to the fee. Refunds will not be issued after 9/1/2024.

SPECIAL NOTE: After you complete the ticket purchase, you will be asked questions that will identify the people that you purchased tickets for. This information will be used for seating, recognition and any special accommodations. Please be ready to provide names, branches of service, rank and accommodations for everyone who you purchased tickets for.
