CUYAHOGA FALLS -– James E. Jones, 80, passed away July 13, 2013.He was born in Smithfield, Pa. and retired from the Army as a Command Sergeant Major after 44 years of service. James also worked as a district sales manager for RCA Rubber Co. and was a member of the Mount Akra Lodge 680 F&AM.He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 57 years; children, Michelle (Jeff) Herman, James R. Jones; stepson, Ronald Heffner of Hawaii; grandchildren, Renee (Brandy) of Arizona, Joey of Alaska and Cody; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Peggy (Jack) Fate, Nancy (Harley) Adkins; numerous nieces and nephews.Friends may call from 5 to 8 on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, July 18th to form a funeral procession leaving promptly at 10:45 a.m. for interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
