James Lowell Fifer died peacefully, at home, on August 28, 2010. A native Akronite, Lowell was born at home on Oct. 26, 1917 to James A. and Edna Antles Fifer. He attended local schools and graduated from the University of Akron with a BA and a MA in Education. After graduation he taught Math, History

Charles Edward McSweeney C. Edward McSweeney, 88, devoted husband and father, died peacefully in his sleep on November 5, 2010 in Denver, Colorado, and is now reunited with his wife of 55 years, Barbara Engler McSweeney. He was beloved by many and will be dearly missed. Ed was born in Fairlawn where his family operated
